To improve mutual culture exchanges among young people of different countries, enhance overseas students understanding of Chinese society and development, find out more moving stories of overseas students studying in China, and remember the special year 2020, the 4th Essay and Short Video Competition for International Students——My Beautiful Encounter with China sponsored by Ministry of Education of China and organized by Center of Study in China commenced from May 2020.

Around 330 works of overseas students from more than 80 universities around China participated the event, and after careful evaluation, two short videos from CDUTCM of Yemeni student AL—HAJJ AMMAR ABDULATEF MOHAMMED NASSER, Nigerian student KINGSLEY FAVOUR NNANNA and Thai student KULACHAI MISS PANTILA were awarded the Honorable Mention. Also CDUTCM was awarded the Outstanding Organization Award by the event. The event fully displayed the positive spirit and warm feelings of overseas students of CDUTCM.
